Microskills
Are you nervous about your upcoming counselling internship? Feeling like an imposter? Or feeling like you need additional practice sitting with clients? Then these sessions are for you!
The microskills sessions are intended for master of counselling and master of social work graduate students who want to practice their microskills, engage in group learning, and get feedback from provisional and registered psychologists.
The Collective Healing Centre microskills facilitators come with years of experience working within the non-profit, private practice, and educational sectors in both leadership and front-line positions. These workshops evolved from a passion to address perceived gaps in the masters level educational experience and to support students in their journey to become therapists.

We intend to deliver microskills sessions and workshops that support you in gaining knowledge related to foundational counselling skills, conceptualizing, managing therapist fears, imposter syndrome, structuring your sessions, and developing your skills as a therapist.
