Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA)

Provides specialized support for individuals recovering from the physical, emotional, and psychological impacts of a car accident. Beyond physical injuries, many people experience anxiety, trauma symptoms, depression, or difficulty returning to daily routines following an accident.

In practice, MVA therapy may include approaches such as trauma-focused therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process their experience, manage pain or stress, and rebuild confidence.

We also support clients in setting up their accident-related coverage, as this process can often feel overwhelming for the client to navigate on their own. It’s important to note that the MVA therapy process must be started within two years of the accident claim in order to access benefits.

This therapy supports individuals in reducing trauma symptoms, regaining a sense of safety, and improving overall well-being after an accident
