Jill Harbin, Mental Health Therapist
*Currently Not Accepting New Clients*
Choosing who to see when starting your therapy journey can be one of the most challenging steps. I hope to make this a little bit easier by sharing a few things about myself. My approach to counselling is one that pulls from many theories and modalities to tailor the therapy experience to each client’s needs. I aim to provide a welcoming, comfortable, and judgment free space when working together. As someone who is passionate about mental health equity I offer a sliding scale option for those with financial need.
I practice from an attachment lens, looking at the relationships that have shaped us into the individuals we are today. My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, relationships, and caregiving. I use modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), the Gottman Method, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic/Mindfulness practices.
